We thought it might be useful to include some information about the cottage to help you enjoy your visit.

Check in time:

Check in time is 4pm unless agreed otherwise.

Electric gate fobs:

Press the button next to the single dot once to open the gates. Press again to close them. Please keep all members of your party well clear of the gates when they are in operation.

Heating:

The heating is already on, but you probably won’t feel it as the thermostat is turned down low.  If you feel cold, please just adjust the thermostat in the hallway and this should warm the whole place up.  All of the radiators have thermostatic valves so you can adjust those to fine tune the heating. 

Hot Water:

The hot water in the main part of the house is on all day. The hot water for Bathroom 2 is on in the morning and evening. If you require any further hot water in Bathroom 2, then you will find the control panel just outside the bathroom door.

Toilets:

The cottage is on a septic tank which is very easily blocked.  Putting anything except toilet paper down the toilet can sadly block the whole system.  Please put all baby wipes, and sanitary products into the bins provided in the bathrooms.  

Please note that the WC in its own small room, which is upstairs in the older part of the house, is on a macerator and is best used for Number 1s only!

High Chair & Travel Cot:

A high chair and travel cot can be found in the utility room.  Bedding for the travel cot can be found above the wardrobe in the twin bedroom.

Cleaning Products:

We’ve put some additional cleaning products (including dishwasher products) high up in the cupboard in the boot room, out of the way of little hands.  Please feel free to use them during your stay.

Wifi:

The Wifi hub is in the lounge and you’ll get the best service in that part of the house. You can find the network and password on the Hub or on the welcome information in the kitchen.

Bed linen:

If you had time to strip the beds that you have used and leave the sheets on the bed it would very much appreciated!

Check Out Time:

Check out time is 10am.
